A K-12 school in Detroit, MI is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contracted position in the upcoming school year. This role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options and supports a balanced work setting, including four days onsite and one day remote per week. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations, focusing primarily on elementary students Collaborate with the evaluation team to develop interventions and support strategies Manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students across K-12 grades Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student needs and behavioral strategies Qualifications and Experience: Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working within K-12 educational settings, with emphasis on elementary education preferred Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and educational intervention planning Ability to handle a moderate caseload efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Work Schedule and Location: 35 hours per week, with 7-hour workdays Onsite presence required four days per week; one day of remote work allowed Position duration corresponds with the current school year contract This position offers a rewarding opportunity to positively impact student success within a supportive educational environment.
