An opportunity is available to lead pharmacy operations within a well-established retail grocery chain. This role focuses on managing day-to-day pharmacy activities, ensuring compliance, and providing exceptional patient care. The position offers potential for contract-to-hire employment and requires a hands-on leader dedicated to operational excellence and team development. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of pharmacy operations while performing full pharmacist duties. Supervise, coach, and schedule pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, and interns. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and controlled substance policies. Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and regulatory inspections. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, returns, and controlled drug monitoring. Review and accurately dispense prescriptions following legal and ethical standards. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Current Utah pharmacist license. Minimum of 2 years retail or community pharmacy experience; previous management experience is preferred. Certification in immunizations and CPR. Location: Situated in North Salt Lake, UT, offering a community-focused work environment. Shift: Daily hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
