Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Physical Therapist is needed to provide full-time services across multiple K-12 schools in the Research Triangle area, NC. This contract position covers approximately 5 to 9 schools within the district, supporting a caseload of 30-40 students of varying ages. Responsibilities: Deliver Physical Therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high schools according to established bell schedules. Manage a caseload with varying needs, adapting to district requirements as they evolve. Coordinate with school personnel to support student progress and meet individualized education program goals. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations. Travel regularly between assigned schools for required visits. Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist license. Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in a school setting is required. Ability to manage a caseload of diverse students with age ranges spanning elementary to high school. Strong organizational and communication skills. Flexibility to work according to school hours and travel between multiple sites. Location and Schedule: On-site position within schools in the Research Triangle, NC. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. School bell times range approximately from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, varying by grade level. Contract duration from ASAP through June 10, 2026.
