A full-time physical therapist position is available within a K-12 school district located in the Research Triangle area, Durham, NC. This contract role will span the current school year, starting as soon as possible through June 10, 2026. The position involves providing on-site physical therapy services across approximately 5 to 9 schools, depending on district scheduling needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy evaluations and treatment services to a caseload of about 30-40 students ranging from elementary to high school ages. Coordinate services and communicate effectively with school staff and families to support student mobility and physical development. Adapt therapy plans to meet changing demands and schedules of the school district. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements. Work within school bell schedules: Elementary (7:45 AM - 2:15 PM), Middle (8:30 AM - 3:15 PM), and High School (9:15 AM - 4:15 PM). Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist license. Prior school-based physical therapy experience is required. Ability to manage multiple school sites and flexible scheduling based on the school calendar.
