Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a dedicated School Psychologist to support students across multiple grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, in a school setting located in Boise, ID. The role is contract-based and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student development and well-being within a dynamic educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school grades. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support students academic, social, and emotional needs. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral and learning challenges. Offer training and support to school staff on psychological best practices and student mental health. Desired Qualifications: Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with students in K-12 settings, with familiarity across multiple grade spans preferred. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills. Ability to communicate effectively with educators, families, and students. Knowledge of federal and state education laws related to special education and child psychology.
