Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year within a K-12 public school setting located in El Paso, TX. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services to students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional well-being in a dynamic school community. Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across the K-12 spectrum. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed. Assist in the development of behavioral strategies to improve student outcomes. Maintain accurate records and comply with state licensure requirements. Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP). Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work onsite full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week. Caseload and specific school placements to be determined. Bilingual skills are considered an asset.
