Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher is needed for a full-time contract position serving high school students in grades 912. This role supports approximately 20 students and focuses on promoting inclusive education within a structured school environment in Wilmington, DE. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 5, 2026. Responsibilities include: Providing inclusion push-in support within general education classrooms Developing, writing, and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed Collaborating closely with general education teachers and support staff to meet student needs Key requirements: Active Delaware Special Education Teaching Certification Availability to work fully onsite without remote options Experience with high school special education is highly preferred Strong skills in IEP documentation and compliance Familiarity with inclusion instructional models This position offers hourly pay ranging from $34 to $38 and includes weekly paycheck distribution.
