Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet diverse learning styles and abilities Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social and academic growth Desired Qualifications: Certification or licensure in Special Education Experience teaching students in grades K-5 and/or 9-12 preferred Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons to meet diverse student needs Location: Situated in Cottonwood, Arizona, this contract role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the school community This contract teaching position is ideal for educators dedicated to fostering growth and development in students with special needs.
