A position is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to support a busy retail pharmacy operating under a contracting opportunity in Carson City, NV. This role requires a pharmacist with strong retail experience who can confidently manage high volumes and effectively support pharmacy operations amid ongoing staffing changes. Responsibilities: Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently Provide immunization services; certification is required Counsel patients on medication usage, interactions, and side effects Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure smooth workflow Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements Utilize pharmacy software, with training provided on ERx systems Qualifications and Experience: Current and clear Nevada pharmacist license Proven retail pharmacy experience, preferably in a high-volume setting Immunization certification mandatory Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic and transitional work environments Strong communication and organizational skills Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Additional Details: This position spans 13 weeks, with options for contract to hire Daily mileage reimbursement available for those commuting from nearby locations Training provided for ERx pharmacy management software This assignment is ideal for pharmacists seeking a challenging role where their expertise in retail pharmacy and immunizations will be highly valued.
