A leadership opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacy-in-Charge (PIC) in a busy retail setting. This contract role demands a strong leader with prior Pharmacy Manager or PIC experience who excels in fast-paced environments and can effectively manage staffing transitions. Location: Carson City, NV (with assignment approximately an hour south of Reno, NV) Schedule: Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM Responsibilities: Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with all protocols and regulations Lead and support pharmacy staff to maintain excellent customer service and workflow efficiencies Manage inventory and medication dispensing, ensuring accuracy and safety Administer immunizations and provide patient counseling as needed Utilize ERx software for pharmacy management (training provided) Maintain clear communication with corporate and healthcare teams during staffing transitions Qualifications/Desired Experience: Active and clear Nevada pharmacist license Prior experience as Pharmacy Manager or PIC within a retail setting, demonstrating leadership capabilities Immunization certification required Proficient in retail pharmacy operations, with strong customer service and team management skills Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic environment with ongoing staffing changes This contract spans 13 weeks, starting January 19. Candidates should be prepared for a hands-on leadership role in a high-volume pharmacy setting. Travel reimbursement is available for talent commuting from Reno, NV.
