We are actively seeking an experienced
Pharmacy Manager
for a
temporary or temp-to-hire
opportunity within a
retail grocery pharmacy setting
in
North Salt Lake, Utah . This is a leadership-focused role ideal for pharmacists with strong retail operations experience who are comfortable managing both people and workflow while delivering excellent patient care. Position Overview The Pharmacy Manager will lead all pharmacy operations while performing the full scope of pharmacist duties. This role requires hands-on leadership, regulatory oversight, and day-to-day operational management to ensure a safe, efficient, and patient-focused pharmacy environment. Schedule Full-time hours
Availability needed: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all pharmacy operations while performing pharmacist duties
Supervise, coach, and schedule pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interns
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations, including HIPAA and controlled substance requirements
Complete and maintain required logs, documentation, and records for audits and inspections
Oversee pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, returns, and controlled medication monitoring
Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with legal and ethical standards
Promote high-quality customer service and a positive team environment
Required Qualifications Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
Active and unrestricted Utah Pharmacist License
Minimum of 2 years of recent retail or community pharmacy experience
Pharmacy management or supervisory experience
Immunization certification
Current CPR certification
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Practice Setting Retail grocery pharmacy
