Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An educational opportunity exists for a skilled Special Education Teacher to support students across various grade levels including elementary, middle, and high school. This contract position is based in Battle Creek, MI, and focuses on delivering tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet each student's unique requirements. Manage classroom behavior and apply appropriate interventions to foster positive social and academic growth. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school personnel. Desired Qualifications: Certification or licensure in Special Education.
