Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to serve students from TK through 8th grade in a K-12 school setting located in Hayward, CA. This contract role offers an opportunity to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 5, 2026. The caseload will include approximately 20 students, allowing for meaningful and focused support. Key responsibilities include serving as the case manager for assigned students, delivering Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) minutes, coordinating with support providers, and conducting Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, including writing and holding IEPs. This role requires a proactive educator committed to fostering student growth within a collaborative environment. Qualifications and Experience: Possession of a valid California Education Specialist credential. Experience working with TK-8 students in a special education setting. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students effectively. Skilled in case management, SAI delivery, and IEP development.
