Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade in a K-12 school setting located in Hayward, CA. This full-time contract position spans the current school year, beginning immediately and concluding on June 5, 2026. The role requires a dedicated educator with California Special Education credentials to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students.
Key responsibilities include serving as a case manager by providing Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) minutes, coordinating services with support providers, and leading the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The successful candidate will contribute to creating a supportive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (Education Specialist)
Experience managing a caseload of students with diverse learning needs, preferably TK8
Skilled in conducting IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to coordinate and deliver specialized instruction and support services
Strong organizational and communication skills
Position Details:
Location: Hayward, CA
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
Contract duration: Immediate start through June 5, 2026
