A full-time RN Nurse position is available at an elementary school in Norwich, CT, offering a rewarding opportunity to support the health and wellness of young students throughout the school year. This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY), providing consistency and an impactful presence in the school community. Responsibilities: Provide nursing care and health services to elementary students, including first aid, medication administration, and health screenings. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to address and manage student health needs. Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school health policies. Promote a safe and healthy learning environment tailored to the needs of children. Qualifications: Current Connecticut RN license required. Previous experience working as an RN in a school setting preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and respond promptly to health-related situations. This role offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week within a supportive educational setting.
