5 Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with autism and other special education requirements Utilize evidence-based strategies to support academic, social, and behavioral development Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, administrators, and families to ensure a supportive learning environment Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters student growth and independence Desired Qualifications: Certification in Special Education, with a focus on self-contained elementary programs Experience working with children on the autism spectrum preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 10 students effectively Commitment to ongoing professional development and student-centered teaching practices Benefits and Support: W2 contract assignment with competitive hourly pay of $38-42/hr Comprehensive healthcare benefits to support your well-being Dedicated recruiter and agency support to assist throughout the contract period This position offers meaningful work with an established support structure designed to help educators thrive.
