Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available at an elementary school in Worcester, MA. This contract position spans a full semester, starting as soon as possible, with a tentative end date by the end of the 2025-2026 school year (June 30th). The role includes working onsite, providing support to a caseload of 14-15 inclusion students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and support to inclusion students in an elementary school setting. Collaborate with general education teachers to modify and adapt curriculum. Maintain accurate student records and progress reports. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Qualifications: Active Special Education teaching license or certification in Massachusetts. Prior school-based experience working with students with special needs. Spanish language skills are preferred but not required. Ability to undergo and pass a CORI check and submit fingerprints (letters of suitability from previous employers for fingerprinting may be accepted). Strong communication skills and comfort with conducting virtual interviews via Zoom. Schedule: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week. Work hours: 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM.
