Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Educational Diagnostician position is available for the spring semester in Irving, TX, supporting two K-12 campuses within an independent school district. This contracted role spans from early January through late May and involves managing a caseload of approximately 100 students. The focus is on ensuring timely completion of annual and reevaluation assessments for students receiving special education services. Key Responsibilities: Manage special education student paperwork and maintain accurate records. Conduct annual and reevaluation ARD meetings in compliance with district and state requirements. Complete initial evaluations and reevaluations to guide appropriate educational programming. Collaborate with assigned clerical staff to organize documentation and scheduling. Utilize CSEP and Frontline (Esped) databases for efficient data management. Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree required. Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate. Minimum of three years full-time teaching experience. Must pass the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians. Preferred: Five or more years of experience as an educational diagnostician. Familiarity with special education processes and compliance standards is essential. Work Environment: Full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week. Contract position lasting for the remainder of the current school year. On-site work only in Irving, TX.
