Job DescriptionJob Description Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The assignment spans two campuses within a dynamic school setting, assisting with a total caseload of approximately 100 students. Most evaluations and annual reviews are expected to be completed during this term. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Special Education (SPED) student paperwork accurately. Conduct initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and annual ARD meetings in compliance with relevant state regulations. Collaborate with campus staff and families to ensure the educational needs of students are met. Utilize systems such as CSEP and Frontline (Esped) to document and track student progress. Coordinate with assigned clerical staff to streamline administrative tasks and workload management. Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree in a relevant field. Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate. Minimum of 3 years of full-time teaching experience. Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians is required. Preferably 5 or more years of experience functioning as an educational diagnostician. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Location & Schedule: Assignment is on-site only in Irving, Texas. Contract runs from January 5, 2026, through May 28, 2026. Full-time hours, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
