Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist providing telehealth services within a K-12 school setting in Harvey, LA. This contract position runs through the current school year, ending December 31, 2025, with a potential extension through May 2026. The role involves delivering psychological support to students primarily via teletherapy, adhering to the school calendar Monday through Friday. Key responsibilities include: Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students. Providing telehealth counseling and intervention services. Collaborating with educational staff to support student behavioral and emotional needs. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements. Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to intervention plans. Qualifications: Active Louisiana Department of Education certification for School Psychologists. Licensure must be valid in Louisiana and the candidates state of residence. Minimum of three years of experience working in Louisiana schools. Proven teletherapy experience in a school setting. Successful completion of a technical screening. One professional reference available. Ability to manage a caseload and provide timely, effective services. Hours and location: Full-time schedule, 35 hours per week. Work hours are typically 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Monday through Friday following the school calendar. Services provided remotely via telehealth within Harvey, Louisiana. Candidates will undergo a thorough prescreening prior to district presentation. This role requires strong commitment to student wellbeing and flexibility as the district finalizes related support staff.
