Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to support diverse learners in a K-12 educational setting in Newberg, OR. The role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and resources for students requiring additional academic and behavioral support. Key Responsibilities: Provide targeted academic support in math, reading, and writing as an Elementary Resource teacher. Deliver instruction within a Middle School Developmental Classroom focused on students with low cognitive and basic skill levels. Manage Elementary Developmental classrooms emphasizing behavior management and foundational skill development. Collaborate with school personnel to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement tailored instructional strategies. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with supervisors and families. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching credentials appropriate for K-12 instruction. Demonstrated experience in supporting elementary and middle school students with developmental and behavioral needs. Strong skills in differentiated instruction and classroom management. Ability to work effectively in-person within school environments. A recent supervisor reference is required for consideration. Location: Position is based onsite in Newberg, Oregon. Contract Details: Contract position for the current school year (CSY). Full-time hours of 37.5 per week. Application Process:Interviews will begin the week of January 5.
