for a
per diem long-term care pharmacy assignment
in
Mauston, Wisconsin . This is a great opportunity to support a well-run, small LTC operation during scheduled vacation coverage, with additional opportunities as workload increases. Mauston is a rural community, and this role is structured as a
travel-friendly assignment
with full travel support. Assignment Overview
Per diem / relief pharmacist coverage in a long-term care setting
Short-term coverage with potential for future PRN needs
Supportive, low-distraction pharmacy environment
Competitive weekly pay
Travel position
with non-taxable weekly allowances for lodging, meals, and incidentals
Hotel and mileage fully covered
Coverage Dates
March 23 through April 1, 2026
Pharmacy Hours
MondayFriday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Key Responsibilities
Medication dispensing and packaging for LTC patients
Inventory management and coordination of deliveries
Oversight of pharmacy technology and quality assurance processes
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and facility staff
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted
Wisconsin Pharmacist license
Prior long-term care pharmacy experience required
Experience with Framework pharmacy software required
(training available if needed)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage workflow efficiently
