Position Overview The Staff Pharmacist will support daily pharmacy operations in an LTC mail order environment, ensuring accurate verification, dispensing, and compliance with all applicable regulations. This role focuses on safe medication distribution for long-term care patients and collaboration with pharmacy staff to maintain efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities Verify and dispense medications in an LTC mail order setting
Ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance in all pharmacy operations
Review medication orders for appropriateness and completeness
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to support daily workflow
Maintain accurate and confidential patient and pharmacy records
Utilize the Frameworks pharmacy system for order processing and documentation
Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Wisconsin Pharmacist License
Prior pharmacy experience in an LTC or mail order environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a structured setting
Preferred (Treated as Required for Best Fit) Prior Long-Term Care pharmacy experience
