A licensed Texas School Psychologist (LSSP/PSYCH) position is available to support K-12 campuses in West Houston, TX. This full-time, onsite role focuses on delivering comprehensive school-based psychological services within a public school environment. The contract extends through the end of the current school year with a commitment from ASAP to June 4, 2026. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological evaluations to assess student learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Provide behavior support and intervention planning for students requiring specialized assistance. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education programs (IEPs). Offer consultation services aimed at improving student outcomes and supporting inclusive educational practices. Maintain compliance with state and school district policies and documentation standards. Qualifications: Valid and active Texas LSSP or Psychologist license is required; submission of a license screenshot is necessary with application. Prior school-based experience is essential, with familiarity working with students with autism and behavioral challenges preferred. Ability to complete school district fingerprinting promptly after hire is required. Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within the West Houston area. No part-time candidates; full-time availability (37.5 hours per week) required. No VOCO candidates accepted at this time.
