Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support students across grades K-12 in a school setting located in Providence, RI. This contract position offers a chance to contribute to the academic and emotional well-being of middle and high school students, as well as elementary-aged children. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student mental health Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs and monitor progress Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral intervention strategies Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant policies Desired Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in accordance with state requirements Experience supporting students across diverse grade levels (K-5, 6-8, and 9-12) Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to a school environment Clear communication skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within a contract timeframe Location: Providence, Rhode Island This contract opportunity offers meaningful work within an educational environment dedicated to student success.
