Located in Boulder, CO, this full-time contract position offers the opportunity to provide specialized early childhood education within a supportive elementary school environment. The role focuses on delivering high-quality special education services for preschool students in both morning and afternoon classrooms. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of preschool students within special education settings. Manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by conducting assessments, documenting progress, and coordinating with families and staff. Provide Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) services to a caseload of 9 to 11 students, ensuring compliance with Colorado state guidelines. Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and support personnel to foster an inclusive learning environment. Qualifications: Must hold a current Colorado Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) license. Minimum of 2 years of classroom experience in special education. Spanish and English proficiency is required to effectively serve a diverse student population. Familiarity with Colorado IEP forms and procedures is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities including lesson planning and case management. Location and Schedule: Onsite position at Pioneer Elementary School, 101 Baseline Road, Lafayette, CO. Full-time schedule from January 5 through April 24, 2026. Position involves working with two preschool classrooms of 18 students each.
