Located in Boulder, Colorado, this full-time special education role focuses on early childhood special education (ECSE) within preschool classrooms. The role involves working with two AM and PM preschool classes, each with 18 students, providing specialized instruction and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for a caseload of 9 to 11 students. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to preschool students with special education needs. Manage and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance with Colorado state regulations and effectively addressing individual student goals. Deliver ECSE services to students, providing personalized educational support. Collaborate with school staff and families to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Utilize bilingual skills (Spanish/English) to enhance communication with students and families. Qualifications: Current Colorado Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) license. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required. Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience in special education. Familiarity with Colorado IEP forms and procedures. Strong organizational and communication skills. Location and Schedule: Onsite position at an elementary school in Boulder, CO. Full-time contract from January 5 to April 24, 2026.
