Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting in North Charleston, SC, with a contract duration through the current school year. This role involves supporting a diverse student population through comprehensive speech-language services tailored to educational needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and evaluations, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing direct therapy to students across all grade levels K-12. The position requires collaboration with educators and families to promote effective communication skills and ensure compliance with educational standards. Key Requirements: Valid South Carolina state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC); candidates with pending licensure, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), or Clinical Fellows (CFs) will not be considered. Experience working within school settings preferred, with caseload management across various age groups. Strong ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and engage in direct therapeutic interventions. Availability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Excellent communication and organizational skills with a commitment to student success.
