Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to work with 4th and 5th grade students in a middle school setting. This full-time position starts as soon as possible and will continue through the Extended School Year (ESY). The role is based in Roseville, CA, and focuses on serving students with mild to moderate special education needs. Responsibilities include: Planning, developing, and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs Collaborating with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide tailored instruction and support Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning requirements Maintaining detailed records and communicating regularly with families and educational teams Supporting social and emotional development alongside academic growth Qualifications: Valid special education teaching certification with a Mild/Moderate Credential Experience working with elementary age children, particularly 4th and 5th graders Ability to deliver instructional support in a middle school environment focused on special education Strong communication and teamwork skills This position offers highly competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
