An educational opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support 4th and 5th grade students at a middle school setting in Sacramento, CA. This contract position runs from the current school year (CSY) through the extended school year (ESY), providing full-time hours across five days per week. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities. Implement specialized lesson plans aligned with students IEPs (Individualized Education Programs). Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive learning environments. Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and educational teams. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Mild/Moderate credential required. Experience working with middle school students preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
