Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher position is available for a full-semester contract at an elementary school in Pickerington, OH. This role requires delivering specialized instruction to a diverse caseload of approximately eight students across multiple grade levels, primarily Kindergarten. These students have multiple disabilities, creating an engaging environment that demands adaptive teaching techniques and a strong commitment to individualized education. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement tailored IEPs for elementary students with multiple disabilities Provide direct intervention and support to students in an onsite classroom setting Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster inclusive learning Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Maintain compliance with state and district special education policies Qualifications: Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license required Prior experience working with elementary students in special education preferred Strong ability to manage and instruct a multi-grade, multi-disability caseload Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to supporting student growth and individualized learning objectives Location & Schedule: Pickerington, OH Full-time position from January 5, 2026, through May 22, 2026 This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on elementary students educational journeys within a supportive school environment.
