Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students with multiple disabilities in a full-time, semester-long contract position. The role is based onsite in Pickerington, Ohio, serving a caseload of approximately eight students, primarily in Kindergarten, within an elementary school setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with multiple disabilities. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with team members and families. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to support academic and social growth. Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and development. Collaborate with school staff and support personnel to ensure comprehensive educational support. Qualifications and Experience: Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License is required. Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in special education is preferred. Ability to manage a caseload of students with varying grade levels and disabilities. Strong communication skills and commitment to student success. Availability for full-time, onsite work during the contract period. Location and Schedule: Position based in Pickerington, Ohio.
