Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide support services as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a K-12 educational setting, focusing on elementary-aged students. This full-time contract position (January 19May 21, 2026) requires on-site presence in the Chattanooga area, working approximately 3537.5 hours per week across 1 to 3 schools depending on caseload. Responsibilities: Assist with implementing speech therapy plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs). Conduct therapy sessions, support evaluations, and participate in relevant student meetings. Collaborate closely with SLPs, educators, and families to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation and follow district protocols. Qualifications: Active Tennessee SLPA License. Active Tennessee Department of Education (DOE) Certification. School Services Personnel License with SLPA endorsement. Experience working in a school setting preferred; candidates with 010+ years of school experience considered. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and organizational skills. Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee area. On-site roleno remote or hybrid options available.
