Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, contract position for a School Psychologist is available in Gretna, LA, serving K-12 students within the city's public school system. This role offers an opportunity to support a diverse student population with psychological services throughout the academic year. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12. Develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations. Qualifications: Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist is required. Experience working with K-12 student populations is preferred. Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills. Ability to manage caseloads effectively while collaborating with school personnel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Position Details: Location: Gretna, Louisiana. Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week; Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Hours align with the school calendar.
