Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide essential support to students across various grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This contract position is based in Brighton, CO, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within an educational setting. Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and interpret evaluation results to aid in student development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health and academic success. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and needs. Assist with crisis intervention and consult on behavioral management. Qualifications and Experience: Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with students in grades K-12, with a focus on middle and high school students preferred. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff. Familiarity with state and federal special education regulations. Location:Brighton, Colorado. This contract opportunity allows a School Psychologist to contribute valuable expertise to student well-being and educational outcomes.
