Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Morgan Hill, CA. The role is a contract position for the full school year (CSY), focused on delivering tailored instruction and fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students unique learning goals. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success. Utilize differentiated instructional strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations. Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching credential or certification appropriate for K-12 education. Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting. Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and classroom management techniques. Ability to create a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues. Commitment to fostering academic and social growth for students with special needs.
