Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is for experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide comprehensive speech therapy services across multiple school settings serving students from preschool through middle school in the Baltimore, MD area. Assignments include itinerant support for community preschool programs, elementary schools, and a middle school, offering a diverse caseload and the chance to support a wide age range of students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary (PreK-5), and secondary (6-8) students, including individual and group sessions tailored to each students needs Provide supervision and collaborative support to Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-As) as part of the secondary school coverage Work full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (3037.5 hours per week) schedules across assigned school locations including Magnolia Elementary, Prospect Mill Elementary, Aberdeen Middle School, and itinerant community preschool sites Maintain compliance with Maryland professional licensure requirements and documentation standards Collaborate with educational teams and families to support student progress and IEP goals Flexible contract duration with options to extend services into the Extended School Year (ESY) sessions in July 2026 Desired Qualifications: Active Maryland professional licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC preferred) Experience working with students from preschool through middle school settings Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and progress monitoring Ability to manage caseloads in multi-school environments with effective communication and time management Experience supervising or mentoring SLP-As is highly valued Location and Schedule: Positions based in and around Baltimore, MD including Bel Air Full-time and part-time options available, Monday through Friday Contract period beginning January 2026 through the end of the school year with potential ESY extension Perks of this role include working with diverse student populations, gaining valuable school-based experience, and engaging in a supportive professional environment.
