Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for a contract role serving K-12 students within the Baltimore area, MD. This position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services across multiple school settings, including preschool, elementary, and middle school populations. This assignment requires active Maryland professional licensure and a commitment to supporting students communication needs in public school environments. Position Details: Location: Baltimore area, MD (including community preschool locations, Magnolia Elementary, Prospect Mill Elementary, and Aberdeen Middle School) Job Type: Contract for the current school year (CSY), with possible extension into Extended School Year (ESY) services in July 2026 Start Dates: Multiple start dates available (1/9/26, 2/16/26, 3/16/26) Work Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours/week) Monday-Friday for most roles; part-time opportunity (30 hours/week, Monday-Thursday with possible Friday coverage) Caseload: Preschool (community preschools), elementary (PreK-5), and secondary (grades 6-8) students Supervision: Includes collaboration and supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-A) Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services Provide itinerant services to preschool students across community locations Support elementary students with speech and language goals, working within multiple school sites Deliver middle school services, including supervision of SLP-A to ensure quality care and adherence to therapy plans Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to support student progress and communication development Qualifications: Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (CCC preferred) Experience working with pediatric populations across preschool, elementary, and secondary school settings Ability to travel between multiple school locations Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills Experience supervising SLP-As is preferred Benefits of this position include engagement with diverse student populations, opportunities for extended contracts with ESY, and involvement in a dynamic school-based therapy environment.
