Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create inclusive learning experiences. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records and comply with all special education regulations. Provide a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid teaching certification in special education. Experience teaching students in Grades K-5 and/or 9-12 is highly preferred. Strong understanding of state and federal special education laws. Ability to create differentiated instruction and behavior management plans. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with assessment tools and technology used in special education. Location: The position is based in Albany, Oregon, within a public school setting.
