Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to support the health and well-being of students at a high school facility. This school-based role is ideal for an experienced nurse who is passionate about student care and has prior experience working in a school nursing setting. The assignment is scheduled for a full semester, requiring onsite presence and providing an opportunity to contribute positively to the school community. Responsibilities: Manage a full high school caseload, servicing the entire school building. Perform health assessments, provide routine care, and respond to emergencies. Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families. Collaborate with school personnel to develop and implement health plans. Ensure compliance with all school health policies and state regulations. Qualifications: Active and valid NJ RN license and certifications. Prior school nursing experience is essential (clinical-only experience will not meet requirements). Ability to be onsite and compliant with fingerprinting procedures for both agency and district. Current Tuberculosis (TB) test and physical examination required. Availability for in-person and/or Zoom interview. Strong communication and organizational skills. Location:
Orange, NJ Job Details: Full-time, 35 hours per week. Start date: ASAP. Contract duration: Through June 26, 2026. One opening available.
