Phlebotomist II – Harvey, LA Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotational weekends. Pay range: $17.85+ per hour. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Administer oral solutions according to training. Research test/client information; confirm and verify written and electronic orders using lab technology systems. Enter data accurately; navigate computer systems. Obtain identification, enter billing information, collect payments per corporate policies. Process specimens (label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, prepare for transport). Perform non‑patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, email. Read, understand and comply with department policies, protocols and procedures. Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data. Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs timely. Complete online and in‑person training courses on time. Qualifications Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Keyboard/data entry proficiency. Flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA. Effective communication in English.
