Both certified substitutes and individuals without teaching experience are encouraged to apply.

As a substitute paraprofessional, you will assist classroom teachers in providing essential support to students, especially those with special needs, fostering both academic and personal growth. Your role will be crucial in enriching the educational experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual students or small groups with instructional reinforcement.
• Assist teachers in managing the classroom and supervising students.
• Help with administrative tasks, like setting up equipment and preparing learning materials.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, field trips, and before & after school programs.
• Attend to the physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs of students.
• Provide support to students with special needs as outlined in their IEPs/504 Plans.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the classroom teacher or school administration.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Compensation: $10-$17/hr
