As a substitute paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in assisting classroom teachers and providing essential support to students with special needs, promoting both academic success and personal growth. Your responsibilities may include:

• Offering instructional support to individual students or small groups
• Assisting the teacher with classroom management and oversight
• Helping with administrative tasks like setting up equipment and preparing materials
• Supervising students during meals, in the schoolyard, during specials, in hallways, on field trips, and before/after school programs
• Addressing students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Supporting students with special requirements by adhering to their IEPs/504 Plans
• Carrying out additional tasks as requested by the classroom teacher or school administration

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Pay: $10-$17/hr
