A special education teaching position is available in a K-12 school located in Chesterfield, SC for the current school year (CSY) contract. Position 1: Full-time role focused on middle school students (grades 6th, 7th, and 8th) Self-contained classroom setting Mild to moderate special education needs Start immediately through the end of the school year (EOSY) Position 2: Long-term substitute covering a medical leave Elementary school students (grades 1st, 2nd, and 3rd) Self-contained classroom with 7-10 students Qualifications: Experience working with K-12 students in special education Ability to manage and deliver instruction in a self-contained classroom Skilled in addressing mild to moderate developmental and learning challenges Responsibilities: Provide individualized instruction and support tailored to students special education needs Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create inclusive learning environments Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student Adapt curriculum materials and teaching techniques to accommodate diverse learners This opportunity allows educators to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school environment. xsgimln Interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to be considered for either teaching position.
