A Special Education Teacher is needed to provide specialized instructional support for students in grades K-5 and 9-12 within a school setting. This role requires dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment that addresses the unique needs of each student. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with special needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff to create effective learning plans. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Utilize specialized teaching methods and assistive technologies to enhance learning. Maintain detailed records of student achievements, behaviors, and challenges. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and concerns. Desired Qualifications: Valid teaching certification with a focus on Special Education. Experience working with students in grades K-5 and 9-12. Strong understanding of individualized education program (IEP) development. Ability to adapt instructional techniques to meet varied learning abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Patience, compassion, and commitment to student success.
