Positions Available: 2 Elementary Resource Teachers specializing in Math, Reading, and Writing support 1 Middle School Developmental Classroom Teacher focusing on low cognitive/basic skills 3 Elementary Developmental Classroom Teachers specializing in behavior and basic skills Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs) Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Monitor and document student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary Maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience supporting students with developmental, behavioral, and cognitive challenges Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage classroom environments effectively Recent supervisory reference required for consideration Location: Salem, Oregon (All roles require onsite work) Additional Details: Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY) Workweek: 37.5 hours Interviews begin the week of January 5 To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must provide recent contact information for a supervisor who can verify current performance and experience.
