This opportunity is for Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students within a school setting in Albany, OR. The positions are contract-based for the current school year, providing in-person instruction and support across various special education needs. Openings include: 2 Elementary Resource Teachers to support Math, Reading, and Writing 1 Middle School Developmental Classroom Teacher focusing on low cognitive basic skills 3 Elementary Developmental Classroom Teachers specializing in behavior and basic skills Key responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students specific education plans Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement effective strategies addressing academic and behavioral goals Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Communicate regularly with parents, supervisors, and educational team members Qualifications and experience: Valid Special Education teaching credentials applicable for K-12 Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students requiring specialized instruction Strong skills in academic support, behavior management, and individualized education program (IEP) implementation Ability to work onsite full-time, dedicating 37.5 hours per week Recent supervisor reference required for application consideration This role requires all instruction to be conducted in-person. Interviews will begin the week of January 5.
