A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to cover a leave of absence at an elementary school in Westfield, MA. This contract position offers approximately 17 hours per week, starting as soon as possible through February 13, 2026. Responsibilities include: Providing direct speech-language services to students in small groups, one-on-one, or within inclusion classrooms Conducting evaluations for IEP eligibility Writing and updating IEPs, participating in IEP meetings Developing goals, monitoring and documenting student progress The caseload will involve working with students in kindergarten through 4th grade at the specified elementary school. Candidates must hold valid SLP credentials and be prepared to complete all district onboarding requirements. Desired qualifications: Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working in school settings with children grades K-4 Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and collaborate effectively with educational teams Strong organizational and documentation skills This position provides an excellent opportunity to support students in a dynamic learning environment while gaining valuable elementary school experience.
