Support a long-term care pharmacy in Wisconsin as a per diem pharmacist, providing essential relief coverage during vacation periods and peak workload times. This role involves working closely with the primary pharmacist to ensure seamless pharmacy operations and exceptional patient care within a specialized LTC setting. Location: Mauston, WI Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM Sunday: Closed Key Responsibilities: Dispense and package medications accurately for long-term care patients Manage inventory and coordinate timely medication deliveries Utilize pharmacy technology tools while maintaining quality assurance standards Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to LTC pharmacies Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to support optimal medication outcomes Desired Qualifications: Active Wisconsin pharmacist license Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy settings Familiarity with Framework software is a strong advantage; training available for motivated candidates Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills This per diem opportunity offers flexibility with scheduling and the chance to contribute to a small, dedicated LTC pharmacy team. Travel expenses and accommodations will be covered as needed.
