The role involves assisting the sole pharmacist-owner during vacation periods and busy workloads, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations within the LTC setting. Key Responsibilities: Dispense and package medications accurately for long-term care patients Manage inventory and coordinate medication delivery schedules Utilize pharmacy technology systems and uphold quality assurance standards Maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and facility staff Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid and active Wisconsin pharmacist license Previous experience working in long-term care pharmacy settings Familiarity with the Framework pharmacy system is a significant advantage; training is available if needed Strong organizational and communication skills Location: Mauston, Wisconsin (LTC pharmacy office at 121 E. State Street) Schedule/Hours: Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM Sunday: ClosedThe assignment dates are from March 23 through April 1, 2026, with potential for ongoing PRN coverage throughout 2025 and beyond.
